If you read the side effects of most over the counter med's you may elect not to take them either, your DR. was right on with his med's and you are lucky to find one that is that is that knowlegable, took me 10 years to get where you are. I have used this exact mix of med's for eight years with 98% success. I do back off of lithium when clusters are not active but keep some in my system so I can ramp up quickly as needed.
