I too have been chronic for 21 years. 18 months ago I began taking Vioxx (one, 12.5mg tablet daily). So far, not one CH attack -- this is a miracle for me since I never went more than a few days without getting hit. My doc is aware of my CH history and monitors me for any negative side effects -- so far none. With insurance co-pay, Vioxx costs me $20 for 30 tablets. I recommend everyone talk to their docs about Vioxx as a possiblilty for CH.
