For me the Shadow is the feeling in your head when you know something is happening, it is a bit hard to describe. You know normally you can't feel your brain, well when I have a shadow it is like you can feel your brain, it sometimes turns into a CH but sometimes just lingers there.
On the pain in the arms, I get pains all down my shoulder, like it's inside my muscles/nerves, but I also get this strange feeling all the way down the left hand side of my body (same side as the cluster pain) I wouldn't call it pain full more like if frustration was a sensation or feeling this is what it would feel like.
I am not sure if I have explained it alright, but that's what I get. One of the big things i have learnt from this site is that although we all suffer the same pain it seem that everyone is different too !
