To everyone that has Norton Antivirus, there is a way to make recovery disks with this program. I would advise everyone to get a few floppys or zip disks and do just that on a weekly basis. If your puter gets hit with a virus and you can not get it back up and running such as the post above you will just boot to these disks. It will put everything back to the way it was and eraticate (sp?) anything that has to do with the virus.
For those with McAfee I wish I could help but I am sure if you look around in the program you will find a way to make a recovery/backup disk set as well.
