G'day Everyone,
Call me a slow learner but I'm coming to the realization that it does not pay to have an illness or be disabled in our world.Take for instance..........
My little boy is three and has Cerebral Palsy. Doctors have told us that he requires a special brace and a wheel chair.
The brace was specialy made in Sweeden and in the past cost families $680.00 Aust Dollars. The Sweedish company has now appointed an agent in Australia and the cost now........$1600.00 Aust Dollars. Not a bad commission hey!!! I think I'm going to have to kick this guy in the balls or worse......get Jonny to lean on him.
Secondly, I have found a wheelchair......cost $2300.00. I apply to the Government for an allowance only to be told that I have to wait 5 months and only then will the allowance be "considered". If I pay for the wheelchair upfront I am deemed to be wealthy and not eligible for any allowance.....What a f#*%ing joke !!!
