The docs were sure it was a bound colon due to lordosis or some such whatever. They had made their minds up before really checking things out (sound familiar, clusterheads?).
But they did run the tests and ruled out all the various theories they had prematurely come to.
Now they can get down to figuring out what to do next.
Kinda like the old story of the farmer and his new bride riding home from the wedding in the mule drawn wagon. Mule gets stubborn and stops in the road. Farmer gets out, goes up to the mule and says "That's one". This happens two more times...."That's two"...."That's three". Fourth time, farmer takes his shotgun and shoots the mule between his eyes, dropping him dead in his tracks. Gets back in the wagon and his new bride starts screaming at him about why did you do that, how will we get home, who is going to plow the fields, etc.
Farmer looks at her and says "That's one"
So, right now the docs in Houston are up to "That's two". I kinda figure Den knows this story and is probably explaining it to them as we speak/type/read.
God watches over children and fools. With Den in Adam's room, He must be doing double duty. :-)
