Oh boy... these are good ones.

'Shrooms: There were very small caps. My friend, who had done them recreationally before, said that he was used to larger caps and stems... I know that is not helpful, but unfortuantely the dealer did not label them. I was lucky to find them at all. This area of my world is experiencing a bit of a "dry spell".

My guess were that they were cultivated indoors.
They were dried and I ate them rather than brewing them into a tea. I am very picky about tea, so just chewing them seemed the best option.
I only took about 1.25 g and that produced a trip level of 2.

LSD: I agree. The LSD was very weak. A different friend of mine who had done it before recreationally took some of the same kind the day before me. Since he knew that I was a little freaked out about the process, he wanted to guage the level of the trip before I went. He took two tabs and said it was very "smooth". I only took 1/2 because I wanted to be ultra-safe. Also, non recreational level doses were recomended.

I also agree that my mindset going into it affected the actual experience. Given a choice I would have found a different way to approach it. However, the headaches were putting pressure on me again, and I had only that night that was free enough of mandetory social engagements to attempt to treat myself for two weeks out. I chalk up the experience to lessons learned and will try to do better the next time the beast comes knocking.

I was much more at ease with halucinogens that came out of Mother Nature's Kitchen rather than the back room of Vinnie the Acid King. Unfortunately growing my new favorite vegetable not an option.

Will keep you posted if anything changes.
