You said...."I could care less". This implies that you are capable of caring less. I`m quite sure that this is not what you meant.
What people should say (but hardly ever do) in this situation is..."I couldn`t care less".
This of course means thats it`s not at all possible to care any less.
Just doing what I can to make sure insults are used properly.
