I have always been afraid of Imitrex due to the possible side effects it lists. My father died at 43 of a massive heart attack. I'm 36 and just simply scared of it.
I have tried Midrin with no effect. I've tried Maxalt also, but that is extremely expensive and I'm not covered. It's about $76.00 for 6 tabs...OUCH! Once in the ER they gave me DHE and that worked within 2 minutes.....you can only have that once every six months, though.
