Excedrin can bite back in a nasty way if you take too much for too long. Have you tried some of the crazy things that people have done for relief? Like aim a blow drier at the painful area or plunge the head in a basin of hot water? (Ice always makes mine worse.) How about Margi's water treatment? It seemed to knock my attacks down a couple of notches and probably helped in other ways.
