Hubby takes it and it does take a couple of weeks to become effective--then dosages sometimes have to be adjusted. He's never had the headaches as a side effect--just constipation and swollen ankles--pretty common side effects. Give it a little more time and talk to your doc about adjusting the dosage is you still get no relief.
