Exactly the same happened to me Jeff when I first started using 02 a year ago - it would knock the pain out, but only on a temporary basis and I would be 'hit' every hour or so. I then started to cut a 100 mg Imigran (Imitrex) tablet in half and would take this at the first sign of an attack starting, plus immediately going on the 02 as well. This combination aborted all but the very worst attacks within 15 to 20 mins. I'm recently back in cycle and have been using the same combination, which is working well.

(PS Before trying the half an Imigran tablet with the oxygen, I tried taking an otc painkiller with the 02. This had no effect at all).
