I too had shoulder pain for a few years and took ibuprofen to reduce swelling. When the Beast came (about the same time) I was up to 3200 MG/day. Scary.
I was traveling for work and would get hit while on the road. I'd take 800 MG in 1 shot. After a while even that didnt work any more. I quit at 6 at a time.
I still think it can burn a hole in your gut.
A trip to a Neuro (I highly reccomend it) and now I am on inderol 80mg/day, Amerge 4 days on, 1 off and Imitrex nasal for breakthrough CH's. I had one today.
I know it seems like alot of meds-it is- but it mostly keeps my head screwed on. This is the worst part of my Summer cycle that lasts until September or so.
Then it's on to November when my Winter cycle begins. I'm thankful I'm not chronic.
