Are you opposed to trying the shroom therapy?
And please be careful about going off your meds all at once....some need to be gradually decreased in your system.
When I have a question I go to www.askjeeves.com and type it in the box at the top. It's a good little search engine and if you ask "Do I have to taper off Lithium or can I quit cold turkey?" it will direct you to a good answer.
Keep us posted as to your progress and read everything you can lay your eyes on.
