I have read posts from others describing this side switching behavior as well. I do believe it has been described as rare but not unheard of? My CH's have always been on the left side except for lately I am occasionaly getting many of the same pains and symptoms on the right side for a bit, just not as intense, then it switches back to the normal side. Not both at once. This is the first time I myself have experienced that... A bit odd.
