I know that mine switch sides sometimes. I usually get hit on my right side, but there have been many occassion where I have gotten a ch on my left side as well.
I went through a really bad time not that long ago, where the beast was playing ping pong in my head. I never had pain on both sides at once, but he would start in my right side, stay there for about an hour, and then hit my left side at a full blown 10 with no warning. That would last about an hour and then he would go back to the right...back and forth constantly for days.
I am really glad you had a pain free day and hope you have many, many more very soon!!
