How often? every 3 years lasting 3 to 4 months. Last cycle was in '98 for 3 months.
How many? during a cycle, 3-4 a day, always at least 2 during the night starting with REM sleep phase, Kip scale 4 at the least and 9 at the worst. Between cycles (now), maybe 1 a week Kip 4 at the worst. I work a rotating shift and the internal clock in the hypothalamus gets screwed-up, (sleeping and eating schedule changes each week) and brings on an attack.
Peripheral damage? None except to the BW's nerves.
