As a longtime CH sufferer (22 years,) I have gotten to know my disposition on the onset of my Headaches. First I listen to my body language, when the muscles tence up in my neck, I don't wait to take my med's. I then grab the O2, and put on some classical music, to me, I find that focusing on something else besides the beast helps lower the pain level.
I know each and everyone has different auoras of their onset's and this makes it more difficault to determin what to do. I know that I sometimes ignor the beast's warning signs and I make a fatal mistake. I know there is a 15 min window for me and that's when I take action.
So my thoughts to you Elaine is know your onset body language, and take action, never give up because only the strong survive, and I believe you are a strong woman. Godspeed, Joe.
