In the meantime, check out the "imitrex tip" link to the left of the board. (I am going to try to paste the link in below, but just in case...) It explains in full detail how to get to the glass vial and use it without the auto-injector. There is already a needle in the cartridges that you have. Not having the auto-injector means a few things: you will have to manually stick yourself with the needle, but it also means that you can regulate the dosage of the injection. If you use the auto-injector, you will get the full 6mg that comes in each cartridge. Some people have found relief from using only 2mg of Imitrex, meaning that you can make each cartridge last through three headaches instead of just one. Less drugs in your system and more cash in your wallet.
