WebMD is right or wrong, but I think the key words in that was "can trigger a..."
Just like alcohol is a trigger for many of us, total avoidance of it doesn't mean we'll never get an attack.
I know I'd like to see the full article this is in reference to though, to get a better feel for what it says.
