When I explained this proceedure (stretching the Imitrex) to the Glaxo rep yesterday, she was silent for a moment but then came back witht hte fact that you can get Imitrex in 6mg vials/bottles and use single/use syringes to inject smaller doses. Ask your doc about Imitrex in vials and insulin syringes then you don't have the sterility problem.
Hub has a sterility problem but it's not dose related (well it was a dose but not Imitrex).
