But, please, still be real careful opening any attachments, from anyone ok? Even if they are your best friend - they may not know that they even HAVE a virus in the first place.
some viruses attach themselves to address books and the sender doesn't even realize they when they are sending out mail, the virus is reproducing itself as an attachment.
That's what happened to you awhile ago, and you remember what you went through with all that.
