I don't know whether I'm alone in this or not, but for me it's becoming increasingly difficult to determine what is and what is not an appropriate post for this board. If I have erred in this respect, I am genuinely sorry. For the time being I'll just lurk for awhile and see whether something definitive evolves out of this issue.
