But i have been labled a druggie before the doc got in the room or even knew the WHYS of the narcotic's I take...just because it was in my chart with a list of other meds...That stigma is their no matter if you are a M or any kinda chronic intractable pain....As for the ch part..You are probably right..i don't use mine for that ... But I did notice that I was in a nasty ch cycle when I was on a lesser dose duragesic and then because of the back pain stuff and months of putting it off I finally did go and up the dose (per my doc's relief ..lol) and the ch cycle was either about to end or did end with the upped dosage.... I still am not sure which on...LOL..
But Yes narcotics in my case have been a life saver...in alot of cases they are abused ...and finally should be used with caution...
