about 5 or 6 yrs ago my neuro told me about capsaicin (sp?). i put it on a Q-tip and shoved it as far as i could up my left nostril (my ch side) and rubbed it around. the first few times it burns like hell and might make you sneeze and your eyes water, but after that its ok, i guess because it has numbed the inside of your nose. seemed like it actually worked the first time i tried it, but has never worked since. haven't used it in a few yrs but may try it again soon if this cycle doesnt end soon. good luck.
