Most of us have tried the anagesic/narcotics at one thime in our CH life and find them to be little or no use. Too slow to act or don't really touch the pain.
Triptans and O2 are the best abortives as shown in the surveys on this site.
Injectable Imitrex acts in 5-10 minutes.
