put the capsaicin all the way around the end of the q-tip, take a couple of deep breaths, then cram that mother all the way up your nostril and rub it around for a minute while you are coughing, sneezing, eye watering, etc. it will burn the first few times but after that you wont feel a thing. yes, the q-tip will go all the way up your nostril, has to to reach the beast! worked for me the first time i used it about 6 years ago, but unfortunately hasnt worked since, but its worth a try if you can get through the first few times. good luck...mike r
