Topamax is not used to abort clusters but rather prevent. It is a tough drug to tolerate unless you titrate upwards slowly. My advice is to try oxygen and if you want to try a triptan to prevent the headache talk to your neuro about Amerge which has a much longer half life. You may have to set your alarm clock for a couple of hours prior to your typical cluster and take the Amerge. Good luck!
