Aloha...I was recently diagnosed with CH. I have been suffering from episodic CHs for approximately 5 years. Im a military officer and seem to get these headaches every two years when under extreme duress or stress that is work-related...unfortunatley a very common characteristic of my career. At any rate, I have been suffering with my latest episode for 4 weeks!! Absolutely brutal! I've found that alcohol and extended inactivity are the most significant catalysts (sleep, etc). Just last night I tried to watch a movie and for the third time received a massive CH as a result. Does anyone else share this symptom? Im scheduled to see the neurologist tomorrow -- Im counting the minutes -- I need some form of therapy or medicine to help with the pain!
