I use the Nasal as my sole abortive. Preventive is 1200mg of Lithium at the moment. If you take the nasal spray right when you feel it coming on, it works quickly 50% of the time. Last night I took a hit at the onset (9:00pm) but the headache didn't go away until about 10:00. Two nights ago, gone in about 15 minutes. IT HAS A NASTY NASAL DRIP TASTE!!! It'll make you gag. If you start to get the drip, don't blow your nose! Just drink some water.
