I too had a very short bout after quitting smoking. I started the headaches in June after a 3 year break. They have always lasted for 6 months and have always followed the same pattern of 8 a day and being at their worst mid cycle. I had only two really bad days of headaches. One day after I quit smoking, I went headache free for 4 weeks and now I have only had 3 small headaches since. Still have a shadow that gets worse at night but cannot believe that they are gone. I am taking wellbutrin and inderal which I understand does not work for most, but something seems to have worked for me. I did quit smoking before my last cycle three years ago but still had the headaches. So who knows???
