I consider myself a victim. Mainly because I feel I have done nothing to bring on these attacks by this Beast. Wish I could take him to court for punitive damages too. I'd sue him out the ying-yang! An unprovoked, unwanted, painful act upon myself and family makes me a victim. But, victims can fight back, but it would be nice if we could challange CH on equal terms.
I'd have to guess your resentment of the term means you are not a victim in the sense that this Beast cannot control your life and your mind. That I can understand, and fully agree with. If that's the case, then no, we're not victims, but maybe then ...soldiers? I don't know, how would you put it in a single word? Besides victims or sufferers?
