I was prescribed Zomig by my doc, but my HMO insurance company turned it down. Looking through my little "allowed covered medicatons" booklet, I saw Imitrex was covered, so asked for that instead. I lucked out, so far the Imitrex Nasal has been the only med that can shorten a 6-10 Ch attack. I know Imitrex is expensive, but could it be that much more than the Zomig would have been?
Of course, I'm glad it worked out this way, just puzzling.
