Had my first MRI about 10 years ago on my head (for CH). Didn't have music but all in all it was not unpleasent. Just had the second one last Friday on my lower back (not CH related) and the times have changed for the better. I took a favorite CD and just concentrated on the music. They did four scans and told me how long each would be before each scan started. The worst part was the itch that started right after the tech. told me to be perfectly still. LOL All in all it was a piece of cake. BTW, ignore the AH that posted below, tumors are curable, CH is not. Best of luck.
