This is my experience so I don't know this has effect to everyone.
I have had cluster headache for 15years since I was 30 years old. Every year I have 2-3months period mainly in Spring.
On Feb/2000 I went to Puerto Rico for vacation then my headache started there.
I had really strong pain and couldn't eat anything just suffered at a restaurant.
However, my friend who are used to my headache gave me a glass of Passion fruit juice (he thought I might be able to drink something)and surprising my headache has gone about 10 minute later.
First I thought this is just an accident.
However, after that I tried the Passion Fruit juice whenever I had headache and it always had a significant effect. Going back to NY, I researched about Passion Fruit through internet. Passion fruit & flower seems originaly from Peru and in Caribean area people use it for calm down or headache.
This year my headache started as usual but I asked my friend's parent (who live in Puerto Rico)to send me the Juice to NY and I drink it whenever I have headache and released from suffering soon.
Unfortunately, the juice is not sold in NY, They have Passion fruit included juice but not 100%.
However, I can buy Passion flower tablet in pharmacy and I tried it .
It seemed stronger than Juice and while I think it has same effect for me , I feel sleepy after taking it.
Anyway now I 'm helped by the juice and tablet and this year's headache is very easy for me.
I don't think this works for all cluster headache people.
But I hope If this massage can help somebody.
