I havn't heard about amitrityline being prescribed for migraines, but it makes sense. It's the generic for elavil which is an antidepressant usually given in much higher doses. I couldn't imagine taking it in high doses though, because this shit wipes me out just taking 50mg at a time. If it'll give me a chance at permanent relief, I'm willing to give the six month regimen a shot . So far, so good. We'll see. Take care :)
