Why don't you search the archived posts under imitrex?
I've done that with other meds. You get a real feel
for the thing when you read several hundred messages
at once.
I am frequently wrong...but here's what I think. Imitrex
works for most, doesn't work for a few, and rarely
stops working. Since it's an abortive, maybe one doesn't
build a tolerance to it.
My husband has been taking it since early 90s
Always works, but he hates the side affects. That's why we keep
searching for something else.
