Hi Brian,
I had surgery to repair C-5 in my neck and then started having CH. Three different Neuros told me it was just a coincidence that the headaches followed the surgery. I still wonder about this since there is so little known about cluster headaches in the first place. There have been several people post about trauma to the head and neck and suspect that it may have been responsible for the headaches. On the other hand, there are a lot of people with clusters that have never had this trauma. Who knows?
