I spoke to his mum a couple of hours ago. He woke up for a little while and we made him smile when she said we were all wearing our ouch shirts for him.
She isn't allowed to stay with him for too long,,just short periods. The one thing that worried me though..she said he was complaining of a CH the last time she visited with him. THAT SUCKS!!!! The nurse gave him a shot so hopefully it will abort it.
I talked to some other people who have had the surgery for Moya moya..one lady told me, he really needs to take it easy for a while afterwards. She did too much and had another mini stroke because of it..so we will have to bully him into taking it easy for a while. That's going to be a job in itself I feel.
Any way If I hear anything more I will let you all know. His mum sounds in good spirits about it all so that is good. The hospital staff there are fabulous she said.
