The cluster survey on this site, almost 8000 sufferes, shows only 28% say their CH start in spring/fall. A smaller percentage say winter/summer. The biggest percentage say they are random.
I think the seasonal claims rank up there with the hazel eyes and orange peel complexion (although there are an abnormal number of hazel/blue eyes in the survey).
