Prednisone keeps the headaches away for me. I start out with 80 mg a day for about a week and then gradually taper. Sometimes have to stay on it for 8 weeks. If I try to go off to soon, the headaches return. I don't like to take it but feel fortunate something keeps the pain away.
Good luck to you....I tried about many meds before finding the prednisone.
