That's one of the goals of OUCH - to BE HEARD. I agree that we MUST be heard as an Organization and our message must be CLEAR. WE ARE TIRED OF NOT BEING TAKEN SERIOUS!
But to be taken serious, it must be an organized effort and we can't just go off in a hundred directions. JOIN FORCES and ACT is a great idea. But unless there's a PLAN in place (which there hasn't been in the past) it won't work.
If a legistative team would come up with the legislation and a synopsis of the bill and let us know about it maybe we could get a campaign going to see what we could do about it. But AWARENESS is the first step in doing something. Most of us are not aware of what's going on in DC - except for the intern thing and don't even keep up with that much.
Of course that's just my opinion. I really want to see us do something legislative wise. I'm sick of hurting and not being taken serious because I just have a "headache!"
