nothing could be worse. Fortunately with CH, there are long and short periods of at relative comfort. From what I understand there are some forms of Carcinoma and other diseases, that produce relentless pain that can only be mitigated with mind-numbing narcotics. I do agree that at the time, there seems nothing with which to compare these attacks.
