Has anyone read anything about the possibility of hypothalamus enlargement resulting from a recessive gene? What little I learned about genetics, I seem to remember that recessive genes are bestowed upon us by our mothers. That would explain the skipped generations. If CH is hereditary, I think we have better chances of finding a cure, rather than searching for that magic needle in the haystack.
