(This question is related to the other post below, for chronics)

Does (all or not) the US insurances pay for surgical operations in other States (e.g. Italy) ?
If yes, what documents have you to produce to have this?
If not, does exists some "other ways" to obtain this?

The question is especially for those of you that want to try the Doc Leone surgery.
I want to clarify that this surgery is ONLY for chronics, and doesn't CUT ANYTHING in your brain!!! :-)
Just put an electrode (like a pacemaker) in the limbic region of hypotalamus.
The high cost (at present, but will vary much in the future, in the sense of LOW cost!) is approx 25,000$

This only to give you some parameters for the answers.
