No Chat Luck

I tried to register for Parachat and got some crazy instructions about copying HTML code and pasting it somewhere. Not sure where? Then tried to register for chat on this site. When I hit submit, I get a blank write mail window. Am I supposed to send this blank docuement? Or type something in there and then send it? I'm on AOL if this makes a difference. Has anyone out there solved these technical problems?
