I just wanted to say that I've questioned a lot of things in the past three years. There is, of course, the usual "why would a God allow such suffering in life?".....anyway, I really don't know at this point in my life.
I was raised Christian and that is my complete background in life. I spent 12 years in the ministry. I was a minister of music and was more or less betrayed by my pastor of that time. It didn't help any that my pastor was my sister's husband, either.LOL That experience changed me. Made me think about things very carefully. I do believe that there is a God. I don't go to church now and haven't been regularly for 3 years now.
I do know this. I have, in my life, had certain prayers answered specifically. It could be coincidence, so many times?
Anyway, at the very least, it can't hurt to believe in a higher being as I see it. Don't know why I'm typing this. Don't worry, I'm not trying to 'convert' anyone.......LOL. Just some thoughts that I've had over the years.
Thanks for your thoughts....I surely did need them at the time.......whatever it was, it sure as hell kept me out of the ER and I can certainly live with that........
