Doctors today have to cover their asses with tests because of malpractice insurance. Not many are in a position to listen to much from a patient without this back-up. Also, it's a rare doctor who has time or the inclination to research anything on the internet. This is not a defense of them but it does explain partially, the attitude you encountered. Still, the way you were treated is terrible. There oughta be a law.
Don't give up Robin. You will find a good doctor somewhere who will understand this disease.
