That seems such a long time ago. I remember my kids thought I was flying off to NY to meet a bunch of axe murderers. Then after getting stuck in Chicago and getting hit with a HA at O'Hare and all the "sympathy" I got from you turkeys when I called to tell you about my "Horrifying" experience and how I was in a hotel room in Chicago with NO ELECTRICITY and you guys sitting in Dave's garage LAUGHING at me! That was the night I learned the "F" word! I guess half the fun WAS getting there.
But for the "newbies" on this board - THESE PICTURES REPRESENT THE FIRST ANNUAL OUCH CONVENTION -it was held in Dave's garage in Rochester NY. The people in these pictures,on a whim, flew to NY to meet and talk about forming OUCH, something that had been jokingly talked about on this board. We'd never met before, didn't even have a clue what each other looked like (it was the oddest thing that we actually recognized each other on sight - don't ask me how, but we did). We formed an instant bond, we ran Dave's phone bill up sky high (I think we called everyone on the MB)and had a great time. THIS was the beginning of OUCH.
Thanks for sharing these pictures Todd. Sometimes I get so bogged down in the day to day paperwork, I forget how far we actually have come since Dave's garage.
