build up to the intense pain. There is a VERY SHORT period from when I realize I'm getting a headache to when it's full blown...like maybe a minute. On the same note, it dissappears in the same fashion...there one minute, gone the next. But, I'm not sure if that's the norm for most or not. Good luck.
